Use a Transition Flange to avoid the rubber on rubber seal problem when you bolt up a rubber joint to a fitting or valve with a rubber seat like a butterfly valve or grooved flange adapter.
We recommend the Transition Flange over the much thinner “washers” offered by some grooved coupling suppliers that may warp over time due to uneven loading.
- Carbon steel
- 1/4-inch thickness for all sizes
